Finally, on TV8, the waiting series Killed Spider-Man – The legendary 883 story after the release a year ago on Sky and NOW. The series is a Sky Studios and Greenland production (society of the Banijay Group) produced by Matteo Rovere and Sydney Sibilia, directed by the latter (at the first serial experience) written with Francesco Agostini, Chiara Laudani and Giorgio Nerone. The directing team Francesco Ebbasta (Addio fottuti musi verde, Generazione 56k) has directed the episodes 5, 7 and 8 and Alice Filippi (Sul più bello, SIC), directed at 3.4 and 6.
We liked it here a lot, read here the review, but also the audience Sky seems to have liked with the first two episodes were seen by more than 1 million 300 thousand average spectators in a week, numbers that make the title the new series Sky Original debutant more seen on Sky of the last 8 years. Pavia, late 1980s. Max loves comics and American music. He is an anticonformist in a city where there is nothing to rebel against. Moreover, after neglecting high school to follow new friendships and punk evenings, inevitably fails.
This failure actually turns out to be a new, fatal opportunity: in high school where he moves he has a new benchmate, Mauro. Music makes Max and Mauro inseparable. Matteo Rovere for Greenland: We wanted them to kill Spider-Man – The legendary 883 story was a tribute to the nineties, writing and directing. Every episode, as well as the whole season, draws an eye to a genre and brings to the public the freshness of TV series and movies of that period, which are part of the collective imagination not only of those who were and grew, but also of the successive generations. This element is also what made the 883, a group that manages to make three generations of people sing and dream together.
