The Rebound – Starting with love, the film tonight on TV

On Monday 1 December 2025 on the Rai5 channel will air the film “The Rebound – Starting from Love“. The film is directed by Bart Freundlich and Catherine Zeta Jones and Justin Bartha as the protagonists. The film (The Rebound in English) came out in some world cinemas in 2009 cashing around $21.7 million worldwide. In Italy the film arrived directly on television and never went out to the cinema.

The Rebound – Ricomincio dall’amore, la trama

The film tells the story of Sandy that after discovering that her husband betrayed her, thanks to a video memory of her son’s birthday, she decides to leave the outskirts and move to the center. Sandy will rent an apartment located above a bar that will begin to attend, and there she will know and become friend of Aram, an employee of the bar, also he divorced. Aram was abandoned by his wife, who only used it to obtain American citizenship.

Soon after Sandy decides to hire Aram as a babysitter, as she will be forced to return to work for the first time after the birth of her children. As time passes, the two will get closer and closer, and they will also begin to attend. But there is a question circulating in the minds of others: Is their relationship real or are they just looking for a replacement?
