A Man above the law is the film on Rai 2 tonight on Wednesday 3 December 2025, also streaming on RaiPlay. The Marksman is the original title of the film released in January 2021 in the USA and arrived in Italy directly on Sky Cinema without passing through the room.
The protagonist is Liam Neeson as a breeder and former marine who helps a boy escape from a Mexican criminal cartel. The screenplay and direction of the film is by Robert Lorenz. The film was filmed before the Covid between Chardon in Ohio, Lorain and New Mexico but it came out in full pandemic the cash was $15.6 million.

A man above the law has Jim Hanson at the center who lives on the border between Arizona and Mexico, is a former sniper of the Vietnam veteran Marines. While patrolling the border he ran into Rosa and his son Miguel on the run from a drug cartel. As his usual Hanson calls the police but finds himself in the middle of a shooting with Mauricio’s drug cartel. Responding to the fire kills the boss’ brother, but Rosa dies and asks her to take her son from relatives to Chicago.
When the police arrive take Miguel away but one of the cartel arrives claiming to be a relative and try to take him away, he will be Hanson to save him. The two start a run for the United States trying to escape the drug cartel and the corrupt police.
