The doors of the Liceo Da Vinci in Rome were reopened for the third season of A Professor, beloved drama Rai with Alessandro Gassmann, Claudia Pandolfi, Nicolas Maupas and Damiano Gavino. The event is on Thursday evening from 20 November on Rai 1 and RaiPlay streaming. It will be 12 episodes divided into six appointments and with the arrival of maturity this third season will tell with strength and delicacy the moment in which we are called to choose who we want to become and, if it is true that philosophy does not give answers, but teaches to ask the right questions, Dante will have to find the courage to face a very important and difficult one: How much does it cost to be yourself?

Dante Balestra is ready to return with new lessons of philosophy and life… but also this time he will have to face tests, one of which with the hardest opponent of all: himself. Overwhelmed by the consequences of past events and by doubts about the sense of his teaching work, he will even come to think of leaving school.
In the third season of “A Professor”, the Da Vinci High School turns into a crossroads of emotions and twists. The maturity is at the door for the 5th B, and the future – between fears, choices and desires – becomes the real test bench. And while trying to lead his boys into the chaos of the passage from adolescence to adulthood, Dante finds himself in the center of a vortex that risks to overwhelm him in person: the return home from his mother Virginia, the delicate relationship with Simon, the fragile balance with Anita – which broke just when their relationship seemed destined to reborn – and the arrival of old and new knowledge, with secrets and problems that ask to be revealed, and solved.
Former wife Floriana rented the villa so Dante and Simone went to live as grandmother Virginia, a transfer lived badly by Simone. 3×05 Maria Zambrano: the wonder: Thomas’ arrival at school is a disaster as well as the relationship with Simone. Meanwhile, between Anita and Leone a feeling that Dante struggles to ignore. Viola accepts Zeno’s invitation to see the stars, but the mind is elsewhere. Alba is attacked by two criminals tied to an old debt, and Dante feels responsible for their past that binds them.
3×06 Leopards and illusions: Thomas continues on the bad road and Simone and Dante help him. Meanwhile, Alba is undergoing new threats. In the contrast between Dante and Irene, an attraction is now impossible to ignore. Manuel arrives in Tokyo and confronts Simone. Zeno always falls in love with Viola, while Laura and Luna is born something unexpected.

3×03 – Wittgenstein True and False: Manuel’s sudden decision has slapped everyone, especially Anita, who does not give a reason and is worried about him. Manuel tries to calm her down: will make you feel and see often in video call, and will be (almost) as if you were still there with them. Simone tries to find out where Thomas ended, who after their first encounter disappeared, and discovers that the boy lives in a very precarious situation: So he decided to get closer to Dante to ask for his help. In the meantime he deepens the relationship with Greta: the two find a certain tune and trust each other their difficulties. While tensions arise between Laura and Luna regarding Matthew, the 5aB boys discover the unusual family situation of Zeno, which strikes particularly Viola. Leo asks Dante to help Alba, and he has the idea to introduce Anita.
3×04 Popper: errors – Dante and Irene collide on Thomas and their vision of school, and life, but eventually the boy is admitted to school. Simon and Thomas burst into passion, but Greta feels abandoned by his new friend and reacts badly. Dante convinces Alba to study as a privatist, to take that diploma he had to give up, while the tragic story of his former fiancé and classmate Gabriele, who so many years before destabilized his life and left Dante and Leone. Between Anita and the Professor of Physics there is some sympathy, but also Viola was impressed by him.

3×01 Shakespeare and the maturity: September and the new school year come with many changes. Dante and Simone had to leave the villa and moved from grandmother Virginia, and also Anita, Viola and Manuel live in a new house… but Anita and Dante are no longer together. In the gym, Dante knows a charming woman, with whom he takes an immediate attraction. Enorme is the surprise when she finds her at school like the
new principal, Irene Alessi. In the faculty there are two new entrances: Leone, the new professor of Physics, and in turn former student of Dante… and Anita, who received an unexpected assignment as an English substitute. In the year of maturity for 5aB, new students join the class: Rebel Greta and shy Zeno. While Simone finds Thomas, an old acquaintance, Manuel and Nina make an important decision.
3×02 Gorgia and the case: Dante and Anita, including attraction has never turned off, have a fall. At school, Irene makes clear her ideas with Dante and other professors, but she is much less determined with her daughter Greta, with whom she has a troubled relationship. Dante and Leo confront each other on their distant common past and evoke another former classmate (Alba) who lives among many difficulties.
Leo’s hostile attitude reveals that Dante believes responsible for many dramas… The unexpected return from Nina’s former boyfriend’s prison puts everything into question between her and Manuel. Feeling betrayed, the boy decides to leave.
