After the two seasons of Incastrati, Ficarra and Picone return to Netflix with a new TV series Sicilia Express, with a banner format, only 5 episodes. The comedy is directed and written by the comic duo, in the cast there are also Katia Follesa and Barbara Tabita. The series is a Christmas comedy story and will arrive on Netflix on December 5 in time for Christmas.
The first clip is made of Christmas with the two comedians who from Milan returned to Sicily for family holidays but are already planning to return to the North. Ficarra and Picone in November were also cast by guest stars of Call My Agent 3 with the two TV series that will promote each other, although between different platforms. Here’s the trailer:
Sicilia Express, la trama
The comedy Sicilia Express tells the story of Salvo and Valentino, two Sicilian nurses who share their lives between work in Milan and their families in Sicily. A few days before Christmas, they come across a magical portal: an unexpected discovery destined to upset their lives… but not necessarily in the best.
It is difficult to get an idea from these few lines (also called these) of communiqué that have been provided, it will only wait for the release of the series to find out more. Surely if you are a fan of the comic duo in this series you will find all the features of their style.
