Martin Vall is a brilliant criminal lawyer always looking for a new case that can make him shine. He decides to defend the 19-year-old boy accused of killing the archbishop of Chicago with 68 knives. Only Martin believes his innocence because the evidence is all against Aaron. The boy since he’s 12 years old has been suffering from empty memory and continues to tell about seeing a third person before the murder.
The lawyer discovers that the archbishop forced Aaron and his girlfriend to have relations in his presence and with a third friend, telling them that it was a way to purify their souls. During some sessions with a psychologist, Aaron’s personality disorder appears to emerge. The case is disturbing and complex and keeps glued to the armchair.
