The Chosen global phenomenon comes back, of course, with a special Christmas. After more than 300 million unique viewers worldwide and more than 900 million episodes seen globally, a special episode entitled ‘Holy Night’ will also be available in Italian.
This episode, dedicated to the Nativity, can be projected free of charge to churches, associations, beneficial entities and networks of faith throughout Italy, offering a unique opportunity to live the true Christmas spirit through the power of visual narrative. Holy Night The Chosen
‘Holy Night’ is a unique experience, consisting of two Christmas short films: ‘The Shepherd’, the first pilot episode of The Chosen, and ‘The Messengers’. Among the protagonists of this exciting story we find Mary (both young and elderly, interpreted respectively by Sara Anne and Vanessa Benavente), Joseph (Raj Bond) and Maria Maddalena (Elizabeth Tabish), in a touching and engaging representation of the miracle of the Nativity.
The project tells the birth of Jesus through a combination of new scenes, live music and testimonies, creating an emotional experience designed to celebrate the meaning of Christmas. The special offers an intimate look on the characters and the context that precedes the event, with the aesthetics and narrative sensitivity that have made the series so loved in the world.

We called to the call the Italian fanbase proposing to them to organize the event “Christmas with ‘The Chosen’ which foresees the screening of the special episode “Holy Night”. Not only churches, but also theatres, associations, schools, cinemas… The Chosen phenomenon is rampant everywhere. Last spring the first episode of the fifth season of The Chosen was projected to the cinema in over 200 theatres throughout Italy, reaching over 60 thousand spectators. The fifth season is available online on all platforms (Netflix, Prime Video) and free app The Chosen.
