Netflix canceled after only one season the dramedy military background Boots, the latest series by Norman Lear. According to deadline the decision would have been quite tormented both because the series was appreciated by critics, both because it had good public feedback and made it talk about itself. Netflix would evaluate the long-term data along with Sony producing, reaching the decision to delete. For the constraints that Netflix imposes, it is also unlikely that it will save on another platform.

Kurt Sutter per MGM+
MGM+ is working on a noir created by Kurt Sutter. Set in the Los Angeles of the 1950s in the center there would be a Hollywood investigator who deals with crimes and corrupt cops in the shadow of Hollywood glamour. Sutter is already working on crime drama ’80s The Westies and American Hostage anthology for MGM+.

Meta Golding, Luke Tennie, Christopher Thornton and Travis Van Winkle will be among the novelties of the second season of The Pitt on January 8 on HBO Max (in Italy it will arrive later). The series will resume 10 months after the previous season and will be set during July 4. Golding will be Nurse Noelle hastings, Tennies will be Dr. Crus Henderson of the night shift, Thornton will be Dr. Jefferson psychiatrist of the night shift, Van Winkle will be Curtis Larson aggressive patient of the emergency.
Zachary Hart in Assassin’s Creed
Zachary Hart enters the cast of Assassin’s Crred the Netflix series based on the videogame Ubisoft with already Toby Wallace and Lola petticrew in the cast. Production will begin in 2026 in Italy. There are no details about roles.
