On Sunday 21 December 2025 Iris will air the action-comedy film “Ocean’s Eleven directed by Steven Soderbergh. The film was created as a modern and contemporary remake of “Colpo Grosso” released in 1960. Ocean’s Eleven filmed in 2001, officially cashed over $450.7 million worldwide. In Italy instead, it has cashed 17,8 million euros.

The film tells the story of Danny Ocean, who comes out of prison after four years of imprisonment. Danny is a rebel man, so he’ll immediately violate probation to go to California to his crime partner Rusty Ryan, to whom he will propose a new robbery. Danny in fact wants to make a hit on the three most important Vegas casinos, all in the same night.
Despite the madness of the plan, the pair of thieves will go to Las Vegas to decide the last details, and they will help from Reuben Tishkoff, a former casino owner who at first is reluctant, but then will be convinced by the two when they communicate the three targets. The three casinos are owned by Terry Benedict, the nemesis of Tishkoff.
The three then decide the day when they will realize the plan, which would be when the casino Bellagio will count a figure of about 160 million dollars.
