Saturday 21 December 2025 on 20 will air the fourth film of the saga of the well-known Hasbro toys, “Transformers 4 – The Era of Extinction” with Michael Bay returning again behind the camera, and with a cast completely renewed compared to the previous trilogy. The appointment with the film is at about 21:20 out of 20.
The film was released in the cinemas in 2014, cashed $1.1 billion worldwide, of which 245.4 cashed in the US market. The film in Italy has cashed around €8.6 million.
Transformers 4 – L’era dell’Estinzione, la trama
65 million years ago an alien race, known as “Creators” used theologies called “Semi” to cover the Earth with a Transformium alloy, today used by KSI to build artificial drones.
After the Battle of Chicago, in the third chapter, humans consider the Transformers a threat, so the U.S. government was forced to terminate the programs in which it collaborated with the Autobots. Everyone thinks that the Autobots have been granted grace, but actually a CIA division, led by Harold Attinger, is dealing with extermination. Attinger, in fact, thinks that all Transformers should disappear from the face of the earth, no matter if they are good or bad.
Meanwhile, in Mexico City, Cade Yeager, a Texano inventor, discovers an Autobot and takes him to his farm. The daughter and her partner advise him to deliver the Autobot to the authorities, but he as an inventor is very curious to discover their formation. Without knowing Cade will revive the Autobot and it will be found to be Optimus Prime, who will re-establish the Autobotos remaining alive to fight Attinger and avoid the extinction of his race.
