Ghostbusters: Legacy is an American film of 2021. Directed by Jason Reitman and written by Reitman with Gil Kenan, it is considered a sequel directed to Ghostbusters (1984) and Ghostbusters 2 (1989). It’s the fourth franchise film and has a somewhat troubled story.

Ghostbusters: Legacy plot – In June 2021, Egon Spengler captures a supernatural entity in the mine of the occultist Ivo Shandor, in Summerville, and attracts another creature on his farm. In his property, Egon developed a very elaborate imprisonment system, but something this time goes wrong: a ghost sneers against him, who dies for a heart attack. The farm is inherited by Callie, a daughter with whom there were no relationships.
