A couple in life and for the first time on the set, Laura Chiatti and Marco Bocci are the protagonists of Se Fossi Te, miniseries with the taste of the fairy tale, aired on 28 and 29 December on Rai 1 and streaming on RaiPlay. A contemporary fable that, starting from the exchange of identity, gives life to exhilarating and unexpected situations. A Christmas comedy that, in addition to smiling with the family, is also an opportunity to reflect, just as the true fairy tales have the power to do.

The series is a co-production RAI Fiction – Eagle Original Content and received the contribution of Friuli-Venezia Giulia Film Commission/PromoTurismoFVG. In the cast also Vincenzo Ferrera, with the friendly participation of Sebastiano Somma, Leo Manisse, Anna Bonan, Matteo Schiavone, Sergio Leone, Paola Ceracchi, Mariella Valentini and Bebo Storti and with the participation of Nino Frassica.

Se Fossi te, la trama

Massimo Mancuso (Marco Bocci) and Valentina Sangiorgi (Laura Chiatti) live in the same city, work in the same company, but seem opposite entities. He is a worker who has to fight every day to land the lunar and keep the two sons and the father, who lives in the house since a disease took away the beloved wife. Valentina is the daughter of Primo, the owner and founder of the company. She lives in a beautiful house, along with a husband who loves her and a son for whom she has already been designed a bright future. In appearance an agiate and trouble-free life.

The day and night, in short, parallel straights destined to never meet, at least in appearance. Yeah, because life has an incredible surprise for them. Approaching Christmas, Massimo discovers that his son Peter suffers from the same pathology as his wife in need of a costly operation. Valentina’s life is also shocked by her father’s sudden malore. And so, while he needs to ask for the advance of the TFR, she inherits the company’s rudder, discovering however that the accounts are in red and that her father claims that she does one thing: to fire. The confrontation between Massimo and Valentina is inevitable, reciprocal prejudices explode and both end up wishing to be in the shoes of the other. And that’s exactly what happens.

Maximus will suddenly find himself in the body of his head, in his designer clothes, in his luxurious villa, discovering that it is not all gold that glitters. Valentina will find herself wearing the humble and unhappy clothes of her employee, to have to come to terms with mustache and beard, but also to discover her particular history and the human warmth of her family. It will be the beginning of a path of mutual knowledge.
