Tonight on TV Tuesday 30 December 2025 on Rai 3 will air the film A difficult French comedy year signed by the authors of “Four friends” Olivier Nakache and Éric Toledano, with Pio Marmaï, Jonathan Coen, Noémie Merlant. Through the formula of the comedy, the French directors face important issues from the economic difficulties of contemporary society, to the climate crisis, a way to trigger the social alarm in the mind of those who look, also succeeding in tearing a smile.
At the Italian box office the film cashed just 153 thousand euros while at international level the data was 7.2 million dollars. The film was released in 2023, lasting 118 minutes and is the eighth collaboration between Nakache and Toledano. Filming took place in the Ile de France, the Loire and Chateauroux. The film opens with some New Year’s speeches of French presidents in which they announce that the year was difficult or that difficult years are coming, even on the queue titles there is a Macron speech in which he speaks of difficult weeks.
Un anno difficile, la trama
Bruno and Albert are indebted and broken with families: the two friends, always hunting for expedients to try to settle their finances, will begin to attend a group of ecologists very engaged in demonstration actions. They think that the association that deals with overindebtedness can help them extinguish debts. The group specializes in initiatives to stop consumerism and save the planet. But the commitment of the two friends is meant more than anything to get us some small personal gain. During the various meetings meet the young Cactus activist who impresses Albert.
