C’era una volta in America: l’edizione home video

The cult film is published in two extraordinary editions, both containing the two versions of the film, extended and cinematic. That 4Kult with 3 discs and a collection card; and the 4Kult Prestige, unmissable small box numbered with 6 discs, the inn, 4 card and the documentary Sergio Leone – The man who invented America.

The 4Kult is a collection that collects masterpieces and cult films that have made the history of cinema, also recent, and which are often restored and published in Ultra HD for the first time. They always contain an overcover in cardboard and a collection card of the aforementioned title to the first draw. Simple but elegant editions.

Played by Robert De Niro, James Woods and Elizabeth McGovern, the film is part of the autobiographical novel by Harry Grey Mano Armed (The Hoods in Original) in 1952. Over 40 years – from the 1920s to the 1960s – he crosses the dramatic vicissitudes of criminal David “Noodles” Aaronson and his friends. Starting from their progressive passage from Manhattan’s lower quarters to the environment of the organized in New York, before prohibition and then post-prohibitionism.

Presented out of competition at the 37th Cannes Film Festival, the film wanted to be a criticism of American society and the path of involution of the American dream and organized crime. He was not immediately appreciated by critics and public, but was successful, he looked a little, just over time.
