The story of two twins Lily and Abby whose life is twisted when Lily is kidnapped by her teacher. The English series features Alfie Allen, Jill Halfpenny, Tallulah Evans and Delphi Evans.
Girl Taken, la trama
Lily and Abby are two twins living in a quiet English town. When Lily is kidnapped by teacher Rick Hansen their tranquility is upset. After years of imprisonment abuse, Lily escapes and discovers that freedom brings its own challenges. The world he wanted to go back to went on without her. While Abby, Lily and their mother Eve struggle to rebuild their family, they face permanent damage and terrifying reality: Rick is still out there, determined to control the situation and escape justice. Crude and emotionally intense, Girl Taken is an exciting exploration of trauma, resilience, sisterhood and high price to pay to reappropriate her life.

The series will feature Alfie Allen (The Throne of Spades, Atomic) and Jill Halfpenny (The Cuckoo, After the Flood) in the roles of Rick and Eve, while Tallulah (The Forsyte Saga, My Fault: London) and Delphi Evans will play the roles of Lily and Abby.
Supporting the main cast will be Vikash Bhai (Limbo, Virdee), Niamh Walsh (Smother, Jamestown), Levi Brown (This Town, Invasion), Victoria Ekanoye (The Turkish Detective, The Royals, Coronation Street), Holly Atkins (Mobland, Criminal Justice) and Kiran Krishnakumar (What it Feels Like For a Girl, Everything Now).
Mike Benson and Suzi McIntosh are the executive producers for Clapperboard, with Mick Pantaleo as a producer. The series was adapted for the screen by David Turpin (The Ex-Wife, The Cuckoo), Suzanne Cowie (The Serial Killer’s Wife, Good Ship Murder) and Nessah Muthy (The Ex-Wife, Grantchester). Laura Way (The Serial Killer’s Wife, Maxine) and Bindu de Stoppani (Silent Witness, Beyond Paradise) are the directors.
