Marathon Agatha Christie on TopCrime 50 years after his death on 10 and 11 January

The channel of yellow and crime, TopCrime, from Saturday 10 to Sunday 11 January organized a marathon dedicated to Agatha Christie on the 50th anniversary of his death. Between TV series and films from his extensive literary work, the channel will be entirely dedicated to the products from Dame Agatha Mary Clarissa Miller, Lady Mallowan, DBE.

Sunday 11, the marathon continues with, from 7.00, Poirot to Styles Court, Agatha Christie: killer in the mirror, Poirot: the infernal series, Poirot: assassination in Mesopotamia, Poirot and the Four, Agatha Christie: 13 at the table, Sipario: the last adventure of Poirot, Assassinio on the Orient Express.

At 21.00, space in Assassinio sul Nilo, directed by Kenneth Branagh, followed by Poirot: bodies in the sun, Poirot: the infernal series, Agatha Christie: crime in three acts, Poirot: bodies in the sun. Sipario: the last adventure of Poirot finally closes the tribute to the Queen of Yellow.

In 1919 the spouses Christie moved to London and in August of that year their daughter Rosalind was born.

In this same year publisher John Lane contracted five novels. The following years they see her traveling with her husband, from whom she divorced in 1928, the year of her first trip on the Orient Express. The oriental atmospheres forever mark its imaginary, creating novels such as Assassination on the Orient Express and Poirot on the Nile.

In 1930 he met Max Mallowan, one of the most famous archaeologists of the time, who became his second husband. The 1930s saw the birth of another iconic character, Miss Marple, who first appeared in the novel Death in the village.
