Aldis Hodge will return as protagonist and executive producer. The second season, produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Paramount Television Studios, consists of eight episodes, will debut exclusively on Prime Video on Wednesday 11 February in over 240 countries and territories worldwide. The first three episodes will be available at the launch, followed by new weekly episodes until the season finale of 18 March. Alex Cross is a thrilling thriller series full of scene shots created by executive producer, showrunner and screenwriter Ben Watkins, and based on the characters of James Patterson’s best sellers dedicated to the homonymous protagonist. The crime drama set in Washington D.C. follows Alex Cross (Aldis Hodge), brilliant detective of the murders and forensic psychologist, with the particular ability to dig into the minds of the murderers to identify and capture them. In the second season the magnate Lance Durand (Matthew Lillard) asks for the protection of the FBI following a death threat, which would link him to the murder of a billionaire playboy. Detective Alex Cross and FBI Agent Kayla Craig (Alona Tal) lead a new joint mission to protect Durand and find the killer, who leaves behind a number of creepy clues. Meanwhile, John Sampson (Isaiah Mustafa), partner and long-time friend of Cross, makes a surprising discovery.
