La Preside, la trama
Eugenia Liguori is 47 years old, she is an enthusiastic and resolute woman, and at her first position as principal, she chooses the Anna Maria Ortese Institute (NA), that is hell on earth. Located at the centre of one of the largest squares in Europe, the Ortese is sadly famous for the student absenteeism and the total lack of resources. But what to others might seem like an impossible challenge, for Eugenia becomes a mission: “When things are so bad, it’s easy to imagine more beautiful.” To save the boys and bring them back to school, Eugenia does his head by constantly endangering himself. The only one to share his methods is Vittorio, Italian teacher just arrived from the north.

1×01 To each his work: Eugenia Liguori becomes head of the Morano Institute in Caivano, a school in a state of degradation and abandonment. Despite local hostility and staff absenteeism, Eugenia does not bend: with the help of Marshal Corsi, a courageous battle begins to restore dignity to the institution and a possible future to its young students.
1×02 The deal: Eugenia intensifies its battle against school evasion, taking children home and challenging teachers’ absenteeism. After protecting the young Nicola during a blitz, the principal strings with him a pact of trust. Meanwhile, he arrives at Caivano Vittorio, a new professor of letters from the North.
