The international festival of the TV series of Rimini and Riccione, called Italian Global Series, will be back from 3 to 11 July 2026 with its second edition. Directed by critic Marco Spagnoli, the festival is organized by APA Audiovisual Manufacturers Association, with the support of the Ministry of Culture, the Emilia-Romagna Region, the Municipalities of Riccione and Rimini, the SIAE and AGIS.
Matilde Gioli was chosen as a godmother and presenter of this second edition of the kermesse. In the first edition, there were 155 serial products from 34 different countries, and many personalities from international audiovisual and others related to the best Italian products of the year that received the Maximo Awards. The Bad Guy 2 and Killed Man Spider won as a drama series and comedy, The art of joy as a miniseries and The train of children as a TV film, also rewarded History of my family for the screenplay as well as L’amica geniale 4, Vanessa Scalera, Tecla Insolia, Luigi Lo Cascio, Silvia D’Amico among the actors awarded last year.
