Melek Karadağ lives in Berlin with 3 children, the Defne and Kerem twins and the little Alì. Escaped from Turkey 20 years before to avoid marrying Halil Şirhan as his family would like, Melek followed his heart with Alpay Yildirim who however made it constantly unhappy. Alpay together with the mistress Funda manages to get divorce with the woman who fakes her wife in front of the judge and grants her father the custody of Alì.
Her daughter, Defne, who has a complex relationship with her mother, decided to move from her father, while Kerem, after a fight, risks ending up in prison. All this Melek finds out he has cancer. At that point he decides to return to Turkey with his children and knocks on the door of his father Seyit who hasn’t seen for 20 years. The father, meanwhile, had just signed peace with Cumali Halil’s father who never forgot Melek.
