In the wake of the success of A head high comes on Channel 5 a new fiction: A new life with Anna Valle and Daniele Pecci protagonists. The appointment is for 4 first evenings from 28 January 2026. Directed by Fabrizio Costa, produced by RTI and Banijay Studios Italy, the TV series tells the story of a woman accused of the murder of her husband in search of the truth but above all to start a new life.
Una nuova vita, la trama
Vittoria Greco was with her husband on a mountain road, they were alone at an interrupted point, so when her husband Leonardo Moser is found dead she is the only guilty for all. As a mother and doctor at the beginning of his career, he finds himself in prison.
Eight years later he went out of prison, where in the meantime he obtained specialization in general medicine. Refused freedom, the woman returns to San Martino di Castrozza with a single purpose: to regain the trust of his son Matteo now adolescent, raised with his grandmother and father’s uncles. It is not easy to restart, no one wants to turn to her as a doctor and Leonardo’s family pushed Matthew to hate his mother. The only ones close to her are Iman and Diego, the man they all thought had a relationship with.
Trying to find a new dimension and regain his son, Vittoria approaches Marco Premoli, a city lawyer who arrived in the valley to find his daughter Asia, who fled Milan and mysteriously disappeared.
He will be the one to help her in the legal battle to get Matthew’s trust and in the investigations to locate his husband’s real killer. What the two do not know is that their stories are deeply intertwined.

Episode 1: Vittoria Greco served seven years in prison for the murder of her husband Leonardo, proclaiming himself always innocent. Riottenuta la libertà’ returns to San Martino di Castrozza with one purpose: to regain the trust of his son Matthew, raised with his grandmother and father’s uncles, the Moser, an influential family of the place trying to obsteat the rapprochement of Victoria. On his way, the woman meets lawyer Marco Premoli, who arrived at the same location in an attempt to find his daughter Asia who fled from Milan. In the course of his personal investigation, Vittoria discovers some clues that cast shadows on Leonardo’s past and could question the guilt of the woman. For this reason, lawyer Premoli decides to take up his defense, until the discovery of his daughter Asia seems to intertwine with the mystery of the Moser.
