Tonight on TV Friday 13 February on Heaven will air the film “La Bella e La Beast” but it is not the classic of Disney or the live action remake. It is a French film directed by Christophe Gans with Vincent Cassel and Léa Seydoux, as protagonists. The appointment with the film is at about 21:30 on Heaven. The film was released in the cinemas in 2014 cashing around $53.9 million worldwide, of which about $35.4 million was cashed in the US market. In Italy, distributed by Universal, the film has cashed around 895 thousand euros.
La Bella e la Bestia, la trama e il cast
Film adaptation of the homonymous fairy tale, the plot of La Bella and La Beast recalc. A rich merchant has lost all his wealth at sea. One day, luck seems to smile again to his family, and so the merchant decides to fulfill the wishes of his three daughters. The major ones want clothes, perfumes and shoes while the minor, Belle, wants only a rose.
The merchant, however, falls into the trap of a Beast who asks “a life for a rose”. Belle, because of guilt, decides to sacrifice himself instead of his father and goes to the beast, but he does not kill her but keeps her prisoner. Belle decides to know the secret behind the cruelty of the Beast and gradually approaches her.
