Nicole Clemens has announced that Amazon MGM Studios is developing the latest book by Mercedes Ron, 30 sunsets para enamorarte (from the series of Bali books), which marks the first American adaptation of a work by the Spanish author. The development agreement is part of Prime Video’s collaboration that has taken the name “House of Ron”, which includes 10 screen adaptations from the author’s books.
The showcase premiered a selection of International Original coming in 2026 and intended to be established with the public around the world, accompanied by some conversations with creative talents. Among these: the Chilean series The House of Spirits, with Nicole Wallace and Dolores Fonzi; Don’t Be Shy (India), produced by Alia Bhatt for Eternal Sunshine Productions; the Franco-Italiana Masterplan production, with Stanley Tucci; the Korean Siren’s Kiss, with Park Min-Young and Wi Hajun; It’s your fault. London (United Kingdom) and Drawn Together (Spain), adaptations from Mercedes Ron bestsellers.
Among other previews, the Italian film Love Me Love Me, based on the most successful Italian language book published on Wattpad; FIST OF THE NORTH STAR: HOKUTO NO KEN (Japan), which reinterprets the famous manga series in a new animation experience; Betty La Fea: The Story Continues, Season 3 (Colombia), which follows the iconic return of “Betty” from the original franchise; Toi + Moi – Seoul contre tous (France), taken from the French bestseller trilogy; and the Spanish Perfect Liars, based on the most read book on Wattpad with 140 million readings; and Apocalypse Z: Part II, sequel to the lucky post-apocalyptic history.
All the films and series listed below will be available in more than 30 languages, with up to 36 subtitles options and 22 dubbing languages, in 240 countries and territories in the world in 2026. Prime Video also offers personalized tips based on the country and the language preferences of spectators.
