Tomorrow Interrogo is the film released on February 19 with Anna Ferzetti as a prof of a high school of Roman suburbs. Drawn from the homonymous novel by Gaja Cenciarelli (Marsilio publisher), it is directed by Umberto Carteni, screened by Herbert Simone Paragnani and Gaja Cenciarelli, in collaboration with Umberto Carteni, product On Production and Rai Cinema, in collaboration with Disney+, distributed by Vision.

Domani interrogo, la trama

A professor of English, convinced of the fundamental educational value of the school, is awarded in a difficult high school, in Rebibbia. His colleagues have lost their hopes of exercising something from the last class, that of the most difficult, refounded students, an urban melting pot. Among smoke and faded families, spaccio and first loves, sex stories and resignation, the boys throw away day after day, between reeds, phones, and preconceptions, convinced that life outside the school is only hostile and precluded.

The professor or, better, “Pressoré”, as everyone calls it, has three possibilities: running away like his predecessors, taking care of it or entering that cage of unarmed lions. Trying unnecessarily to understand them, he will be able to enter their hearts and give a sense both to their school path and to his life as a teacher.

Note di regia

“The film develops through a cross-view: that of Professores–the “Pressorè”–and that of his students. The camera moves as a silent witness between two seemingly inconcilable worlds: adult experience, marked by invisible scars and an obstinate vitality, and adolescence, fragile and rabid at which a school is set at the edge of the city. The Roman suburbs of Rebibbia becomes a character to itself: its scrostat walls, the courtyards full of writings, the windows opening onto the grey concrete are the frame and at the same time the reflection of the inner world of the boys”
