The Colibrì is the film on Rai 5 Tuesday 17 February 2026 adaptation of Sandro Veronesi’s novel winner of the Strega Prize, directed by Francesca Archibugi. The script is written by Archibugi himself with Laura Paolucci and Francesco Piccoli. Il Colibrì la trama del film
The plot of Il Colibrì brings us to the life of Marco Carrera made of fatal coincidences, losses and absolute loves. The story proceeds according to the strength of memories that allow to jump from one period to another, from one epoch to another, in a liquid time that goes from the early 1970s to a near future.
It is at the sea that Marco knows Luisa Lattes, a beautiful and unusual girl. A love that will never be consumed and will never be extinguished all life. Her married life will be another, in Rome, along with Marina and her daughter Adele. Marco will return to Florence astounded by a relentless destiny, which submits him to hard trials. To protect him from the most violent shocks will find Daniele Carradori, the psychoanalyst of Marina, who will teach Marco how to welcome the most unexpected changes of course.
