Ben Leonberg demonstrates great mastery of the camera and archetypes from horror films using frames and perspectives that would belong to humans, from the point of view of the title dog. For almost all the film, the visual axis is four-legged. A great interpreter trained, in reality the director’s pet, named Indy. Not only: the final reading can be interpreted as a metaphor of what the dog perceives as Male incoming. Even because, you know, animals have a sixth sense that we humans lack, as to sensations, smells, noises and so on.
