Tonight Tuesday 24 February 2026 on channel 20 will air the film Hellboy. It’s not about the Guillermo del Toro film, but the new version released in 2019 directed by Neil Marshall. The film is always taken from the comics of Mike Mignola and acts as a reboot of the films of Guillermo del Toro. The protagonists are David Harbour (Hopper in Stranger Things), Milla Jovovich and Ian McShane. The appointment is for tonight at 21:10 on channel 20 of the digital terrestrial.
Hellboy, as anticipated, went out to the cinema in 2019 and cashed only $55 million worldwide, of which $21.9 million in the US market. In Italy it was distributed by M2 Pictures and cashed €1.4 million in the box office.
La trama di Hellboy (2019)
The demonic superhero Hellboy (David Harbour) is a BPRD detective (Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense), a department that has the task of defending the Earth from supernatural creatures that undermine it. Hellboy is called to fight three giants who are sowing panic in England. Arrived on the old continent, Hellboy discovers the truth about his past thanks to a seer, Lady Hatton.
The woman reveals how she appeared in our world in 1944, after being summoned by the sorcerer Rasputin, a Russian at the service of the SS. He will find out that his real enemy is Nimue, the queen of Sangua, an ancient witch who has returned from the past and wants to destroy humanity.
