Three of Too much is the film that after the success at the cinema and on Sky and streaming on NOW arrives for the first time on clear television Wednesday 25 February 2026 on Canale 5, against Sanremo just close to the release of A nice day with Fabio De Luigi and Virginia Raffaele who will be at the Festival to present it.
In Three of Too Fabio De Luigi directs and interprets an irreverent film on and for families, in which a couple who does not want children finds themselves – because of a spell – with three children at home. Protagonist with him is Virginia Raffaele, both flanked by a cast that also includes Barbara Chichiarelli, Renato Marchetti, Marina Rocco and Fabio Balsamo. The script is signed by Michele Abatantuono, Lara Prando and Fabio De Luigi. Produced by Warner Bros. Entertainment Italy, Colorado Film Production and Alfred Film, Three of too much was distributed in Italian cinemas by Warner Bros. Pictures.
Tre di Troppo la trama
Marco and Giulia live their life as a couple in a harmonious and passionate way. They both have an enviable shape and a fashioned fashion. For them the world is divided into two: Hell, inhabited by exasperated parents and subjugated by small pestipheral beings, and Paradise, where men and women free from guilt, enjoy the pleasures of life without children and proud to live in apartments always in perfect order. They know where to stand, far from those couples of friends in perpetual marital crisis and worn out by parents’ lives.
Yet, destiny is already at work to upset their lives and to crumble all their certainties: suddenly and inexplicably, they awaken with three children of 10, 9 and 6 years who call them mother and father. Getting rid of it and returning to the happy “previous” life will become their only goal. A comedy on joys and difficulties of being or becoming a parent.
