Before we go into the world of TV series and their news, we can’t do anything about Warner Bros’s horrific twist of scene. Skydance-Paramount raised and Netflix retired. The situation is now that Paramount is in pole position to incorporate Warner Bros. Discovery and not just the streaming/study part like Netflix wanted to do. If the deal should go to port (and the doubts are so many from a point of view of the Antitrust not to chance Warner has included a $7 billion penalty, which lets think how David Ellison is sure to succeed) from 111 billion dollars, the mega group will change the scenarios of global entertainment.
If the deal with Netflix concerned about a time reduction in the movie room, the Paramount-WBD deal worries about reducing potential content. They will reduce the films that will come out to the cinema to avoid direct competition (which with Netflix was not there), reduce the TV series, reduce show and reality. And in the meantime Netflix, who wanted to buy Warner Bros to increase the potential titles available, will focus on internal productions.

Apple TV is officially ordering a limited series with Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Cecily Strong inspired by a New York Magazine article, The Nanny Squatter, directed by Mary Bronstein. In the middle of the untitled series there is the story of a couple who takes a nanny in the house finishing up to have the life twisted, they thought they found Mary Poppins but eventually they were no longer freed.
The Rockford Files, serie tv
Michaela McManus enters the cast of The Rockford Files with David Boreanaz, reboot of the historic series. The protagonist James Rockford (Boreanaz) comes out of prison after a conviction for a crime he did not commit and returns to his life as a private investigator, colliding with the police and organized crime. McManus will be Kate, East Hollywood detective, Rockford’s ex, but their relationship got complicated after he accused her colleagues of setting him up. It is a character not present in the wave series between 1974 and 1980.
The Witches of Cambridge e Last Second Chance
Hulu is working on The Witches of Cambridge a drama inspired by Alice Hoffman’s novel, with the adaptation that will be produced by Noah Hawley’s 26 Keys. At the center there are two women in Cambridge in Massachusetts in the 1950s who are part of a group of witches known as the Lilith Society. The premises are similar to Practical Magic in 1995, becoming a film with Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidrman.
Hulu is working at Last Second Chance remake of the Japanese TV series Rebooting. Corey Nickerson is writing the script with Nahnatchka Khan. In the middle of the story of a woman who literally has a second chance in life but this time she has to change to avoid her own murder.
Heated Rivalry 2 quando esce?
Jacob Tierney, creator, director and screenwriter of Heated Rivalry, said that the filming of the second season should start in August and the release of bets should take place in April 2027.
