The story of Gina Lollobrigida and her legacy undergoes the treatment of docu-series, a very beloved format to tell the reality by realizing investigations built as if they were a fiction. Gina Lollobrigida. Diva Contesa reconstructs the real case Gina Lollobrigida, the incredible judiciary story that has captured public attention with a plot of intrigues, deceptions and surprising revelations.
It traces the life of the great diva of international cinema – actress, photographer, sculptor, painter, symbol of independence – until the death in 2023, focusing on the legal battle exploded around its important millionaire heritage. To contend with the economic, artistic and moral legacy are: the son Milko Skofic, the 16-year-old husband Francisco Javier Rigau and manager Andrea Piazzolla. While the last years of the diva’s life turn into a whirlwind of accusations, betrayals and suspicions of manipulation.
The series combines the portrait of the great star to the story of the last period of his existence, in which Piazzolla, factotum and manager of the “Lollo”, ends on the bank of the defendants, because accused of circumvention of incapable and for having stolen property from the estate of the actress.
