On Monday 9 March 2026 on Channel 20 the film “Shazam!” will air after the passage on pay networks. The film is directed by David F. Sandberg with Zachary Levi who debuts in the DC world as the protagonist. Shazam went out to the cinema in 2019 and cashed around $362 million worldwide, of which $139 million was cashed in the US market. In Italy the film cashed €3.7 million. Meanwhile the sequel Fury of the gods came out.
Shazam!, la trama
Billy Batson is a 15-year-old orphan living in Philadelphia with the Vasquez family with whom he has no good relationship, except with Freddy a disabled boy. One day, chased by the bullies to defend Freddy, he is transported to another dimension to Rock of Eternity where he meets the wizard Shazam who gives him the powers to defeat the villain Dr. Thaddeus Sivana at the head of the Seven Capital Peccates.
When he returns to Earth, he tells his friends and discovers that by uttering the word Shazam! he becomes an adult with great abilities. Billy’s all a joke, but Freddy’s trying to get him back on the right path. The villain who kidnaps Freddy’s family is coming. But Billy finds out why Silvana became a bad guy..
