On March 16, the Piccolo Teatro di Milano – Teatro d’Europa and Mediaset Infinity celebrate the 75th anniversary of the release in cinemas with a special screening in Milan of the restored version of the masterpiece by Vittorio De Sica and Cesare Zavattini.
The restoration of Miracolo in Milan was realized by Mediaset Infinity, which makes available to the public a new version of one of the most beloved titles in the history of Italian and international Cinema. The event is part of the calendar of initiatives to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the release in the cinemas of the film directed by Vittorio De Sica and written by Cesare Zavattini, a masterpiece of cinema that has been able to combine poetry and civil commitment and that, in 1951, he won the Golden Palm at the Cannes Film Festival.
The celebrations began on 4 March with the first absolute of the new theatrical production of the Piccolo Teatro di Milano – Teatro d’Europa, “Miracolo in Milan”, second directed by Claudio Longhi as artistic director of the Piccolo Teatro di Milano, with Lino Guanciale and Giulia Lazzarini in the roles of Totò and Lolotta.

The Piccolo Teatro di Milano – Teatro d’Europa and Mediaset Infinity give life to a special event: Monday, March 16th at 8:30 p.m., the Strehler Theatre room will turn into a cinema evening to host a special screening of Miracle in Milan in the version restored by Mediaset Infinity.

After the event at the Strehler Theatre, from 17 March, the restored version of Miracolo in Milan will be available for free on Mediaset Infinity, offering the opportunity to review or discover for the first time the adventures of Totò and Lolotta, Edvige, Brambi and Mobbi, protagonists of a timeless fairy tale able to speak again to the present.
