It took 5 years to prepare the script, after an initial processing lasting 10 years. The pre-production phase began at the end of 2018, the casting phase in March 2019. Filming took place from May to November 2019 in Denmark, Estonia, India, Italy, Norway, the United Kingdom and the United States. The Covid added to all this, which delayed its release. In the end, it was the first major Hollywood production to be distributed in cinemas after forced closures due to pandemic, resulting in more than $363 million worldwide and thus becoming the fifth 2020 collection film. Tenet won 1 Academy Award and 1 BAFTA Award in the category Best Special Effects.

It is not easy to leave a plot of Tenet, a film that plays with time and space, in a world of international espionage where you collaborate to solve an intrigue.
The Protagonist is a trained agent who has the task of stopping a probable planetary threat, flanked by a young partner and an old acquaintance. Salvation appears hidden in a Tenet word considered mysterious. During a terrorist assault at the Kiev Opera House, a CIA agent, the “Protagonist”, he participates under cover to a Russian operation to save a compromised agent and recover an unidentified stolen object. After saving the agent and recovering the object, the Protagonist sends part of his team through a secret exit and returns to the scene of the assault.
They are not simply journeys in time but a temporal manipulation known as inversion, the idea of matter with an inverted entropy. A double-cut weapon because it could lead to a form of terrorism, but at the same time also the only means of salvation.
