Jack Cunningham once had a life full of promises. In high school it was a phenomenon of basketball with a scholarship in hand, when suddenly, for unknown reasons, he decided to move away from the world of basketball, giving up his brilliant future. Years later, Jack is one step away from ruin, triggered by an inexorable loss, drowning in alcoholism that had already cost him a marriage and any other hope of better life.
When he is offered the opportunity to train the basketball team of his old high school, far from the glorious years of a time, he accepts reluctantly, surprising only himself. When the boys start acting as a team and consequently winning, Jack believes he has finally found a reason to fight the demons that brought him close to ruin. But is this enough to fill his gaps, to heal the deep wounds of his past and to lead him on the path of redemption?
