Off Campus, the new romantic YA arrives in May on Prime Video

Prime Video’s Young Adult/teen drama collection is enriched with the arrival of Off Campus based on Elle Kennedy’s world-class books, adapted to TV series by Louisa Levy. Off Campus will be on Prime Video next May 13th and seems a bit’ the answer to Heated Rivalry only in heterosexual version. In fact, in the middle of the series there are players of a hockey team and women who are part of their lives, a description that seems to have come out from the 1950s..

At the end of the teaser trailer, a new version of the cover of the book published in Italy by Newton Compton, portraying the protagonists of the series Ella Bright and Belmont Cameli.

Off Campus, la trama

Set in a college and based on the homonymous series of bestseller books, Off Campus tells the story of the players of an elite team of ice hockey and women who are part of their lives, struggling with love, pain and self-discovery, as they shake deep friendships and lasting ties and face the complexity that accompany the transition to adulthood. The first season follows the fun and passionate love story in style “the opposite draws” between Hannah, a songwriter with a private personality, and Garrett, champion of the hockey team at Briar University. Theoretically, in different seasons other love stories should be told, in Bridgerton mode if we want.

Il cast

The cast of Off Campus includes Ella Bright (The Crown, Malory Towers) Belmont Cameli (Fino all’alba, Saved by the Bell), Mika Abdalla (Snack Shack, Sex Appeal), Antonio Cipriano (Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin, The Templar Mystery – La serie), Jalen Thomas Brooks (The Pitt, Thanksgiving), Josh Heuston (Dune: Prophecy.

The creator Louisa Levy is co-showrunner and executive producer of Off Campus with Gina Fattore. Wyck Godfrey, Marty Bowen and James Seidman are executive producer of the Temple Hill series, along with Billings Productions and Neal Flaherty’s Leanna Billings.
