Joker – Wild Card is the film broadcast tonight Thursday 26 March 2026 on Heaven in the first evening from about 21:25. The film is directed by Simon West and is inspired by William Goldman’s novel “Heat”, with Jason Statham and Michael Angarano as the protagonists.
The film (Wild Card in original) is based on Wiliam Goldman’s 1985 novel Calore – Heat, which also wrote the film screenplay and had already been brought to the cinema in 1986 with Black Jack (Heat) with Burt Reynolds. Released in cinemas in 2015 he cashed around $6.7 million worldwide, of which 1,2 million were cashed in the French market. In Italy, distributed by Koch Media, the film has cashed 515 thousand euros.
Joker – Wild Card, la trama
Joker’s plot – Wild Card tells the story of Nick Wild, former USAF officer (United States Air Force) who loves blackjack and protects the rich in Las Vegas. Its goal is to earn $500,000 to leave the city and reach Corsica. Her daily work goes on the second floor when her friend is brutally beaten by a dangerous gangster. Nick will stake himself and his life to get justice. Meanwhile, a boy asks him to help him overcome his fears.
