A Father, the movie with Kevin Hart from Netflix to Rai 1, tonight on TV

Tonight on TV on Rai 1, Wednesday 1 April, will air A Father, a movie released in 2021 on Netflix, with Kevin Hart as the protagonist, a widow who must measure himself with one of the most complicated tasks in the world: to be a father. The film is produced by Sony Pictures and Higher Ground Production and directed by Paul Weitz, as well as inspired by the true story told by Matthew Logelin in the novel “Two Kisses for Maddy: A Memoir of Loss & Love.” The film was not a real original Netflix, but it is the result of a licensing agreement with Sony that provides distribution rights across the globe. Sony remains the rights of history and all those outside Netflix.

Un Padre, la trama

After the death of his wife during the birth, Matt Logelin (Kevin Hart) will find himself managing this new impossible situation made of pain for the loss of his wife, and for the new adventure that awaits him: paternity. Matt decides to take care of his daughter Maddy, just like his wife Liz wanted. So he will embark on this challenge alone and learn that to raise a child, and to become a good father, an immanent will force is necessary.

Thanks to the help of his family, his friends, his boss and his new flame, which is also called Liz, Matt will be able to give Maddy a life made of joy and love, everything his mother had dreamed of for her. Of course it is easier to say than to do.
