Meglio tardi che mai, la trama
“Better late than ever” tells the story of Marco, a brilliant but self-centered actor, who is overwhelmed by the controversy after offending a colleague on the set and then erased by every production. Forced by his agent to “remember”, he accepts the old proposal of his aunt to teach theater in the prison of Bassano del Grappa, from where he had escaped to make the actor. To wait for him find Aunt Tina, social and aspiring assistant Miss Marple, as well as dispenser of pearls of wisdom. But the prison mission is not easy at all. There he finds Arianna, his great youth love, today unjustly recruited for a scam linked to the family business. Slowly, the theater becomes for the held stage of second occasions: for Arianna of ransom and be able to demonstrate its innocence; for Marco to rediscover the value of the recitation. To complicate everything is Francesco, the lawyer of Arianna who hides more than an insidia. While the theater will give voice and identity to those who lost it, Marco and Arianna will have to understand if it is really too late to rewrite their final.

Meglio tardi che Mai secondo il regista
“The film – says Giuseppe Curti – sends a message of love, friendship, hope and rebirth. We talk about second chances: we all need it. We all go wrong, we lose, we go without understanding where we are really going. The important thing is to find oneself, tell oneself the truth and act accordingly. To do that, it’s always better late than ever! “Better late than ever” is a choral film in which the challenge was to tell the prison without weighing down a romantic story that had to, by force of things, remain sparkling and fun. The task of our protagonist, Marco Torre, was also to create a guiding thread between the two worlds, since it is with his eyes that we enter and exit from the prison”.
