On Canale 5 a French TV series arrives in the first evening and in the first sight, it titles Montmatre and will bring the audience in the Paris of the Belle Epoque. 1×01 Celeste, a can-can dancer in a cabaret in Montmartre, has only one goal: to find her brother and sister, who were torn off when her father was murdered. To pay Inspector Leon Blanchard, who has to question a man tied to the case, accepts a role as a naked dancer in the new cabaret of Montmartre, the Elephant Rose, directed by Youri. At the same time, Arsene, a brilliant engineer, is facing a marriage imposed on Henriette, while Rose, a lavender full of dreams, is trapped by the man he loves, who abandons her in a house of tolerance. In the end, Celeste gets names and addresses of the brothers: the search really begins.
1×02 While Rose struggles against the disease, Celeste mobilizes every energy to save it, determined not to lose it after finding it. The echo of his number at Elefant Rose resounds throughout Paris: fame comes quickly, along with threats. In the spotlight, Celeste wonders about the price paid: is it really worth sacrificing the happiness he believed he had regained? Elsewhere, Arsene faces an increasingly tense family climate. A letter, both unexpected and disturbing, discards the few certainties left and puts it in front of choices that cannot postpone.
