An action coming from the Netherlands is the film aired tonight Friday 5 June on TV on Italy 1: Invasion – Under attack. A story of fiction but inspired by military scenarios and strategies really adopted in crisis contexts, increasing realism and narrative tension. Invasion – Sotto attacco la trama
The Dutch government is caught off guard when it suffers an attack on the Caribbean islands of Aruba and Curaçao by the state of Veragua. Bombardments and military operations of various kinds put local defenses in difficulty and risk of emergence an international crisis. A group of elite soldiers are sent to secure a military hospital under attack, but is trapped in a much more complex mission than expected.
Among civilian patients in danger, hostile forces and a conspiracy that extends to the top of power, the protagonists will have to struggle to survive and discover the truth. The battle is not only against external enemies, but also against what everyone is willing to sacrifice.
