Hulu is working on The Cable Guy’s pilot, TV series inspired by the film The Italian puzzle with Jim Carrey, who will see Jake Johnson and Damon Wayans Jr as protagonists. According to the official plot, the cable TV technician Chip Douglas (Johnson) is now sad and forgotten in a world made of streaming and algorithms, until he contacts Steven Stephens (Wayans Jr.) to get the cable TV set up and will be the opportunity for Chip to find an old childhood friend. But this relationship will end up becoming an obsession with Chip.

Paramount+ took the Cop Land project, adaptation of the 1997 Miramax film, made by James Mangold.
