Four years after Noi’s first and only season, the Italian remake of This is Us, the drama is back in replay on Rai 2 from Friday, June 12th. A mysterious decision of palimpsest that seems to make no sense, also because it is difficult to imagine that it can have an insatiable success and even less that it can have a follow-up. So it’s just a randomly thrown filler.
The series covers the themes of the original format produced by 20th Television for NBC although adapted to Italian history and dynamics. The fiction is directed by Luca Ribuoli and written by Sandro Petraglia, Flaminia Gressi and Michela Straniero. The name Mille Stelle is sung by Nada. In total there are 12 episodes divided into 6 evenings, the events are set in the present and in the past, divided between Rome, Milan, Turin and in part Naples (more details).

1×01 The Game of Life: 80s Turin (the surprise effect of the original series compared to the setting then disappears). Peter and Rebecca are waiting for their three children, a tri-gemellar birth and just on the birthday of him the couple must run to the hospital. In the present is the birthday of Cate, Claudio and Daniele, the first two live in Rome, deeply linked both with situations that torment him: she wants to lose weight, Claudio has abandoned the successful role of Maestro Rocco to try to go to Milan and try the way of the theatre. In Milan there is Daniele beautiful black boy, elegant with a splendid family but who is looking for his biological father. Peter and Rebecca give birth to twins, the third unfortunately died but in the nursery comes an abandoned black baby and Peter decides to adopt it. .
1×02 The fantastic 3: the first days for Peter and Rebecca are complicated, you sleep little, managing three twins is not simple. Rebecca is obsessed that Daniel’s father can remake himself alive, and when she says she found him, she’s upset. In Rome Theo and Cate are getting closer but Cate’s relationship with Daniele begins to interfere too much.
