TV series: Outer Banks 5, The God of the Woods, Dungeon Crawler Carl, The Naturalist

Peacock ordered the live-action series Dungeon Crawler Carl, adaptation of Matt Dinniman’s role-play fantasy novels. Seth MacFarlane’s Fuzzy Door will be in production, while Chris Yost’s screenplay. In the series an alien invasion wiped out much of humanity and human survivors live in a sort of sadistic role-playing game. The protagonist is a former Coast Guard who faces this reality with the cat of his former girlfriend.

The God of the Woods

Tracy Letts, John Gallagher Jr, Lola Kirke, Colton Ryan, Camila Canó-Flaviá, Tristan Leander Green, Cliff Chamberlain,Lynden Miles Ley, Dannie McCallum, Andrew Polk, Chris Henry Coffey, David Furr, Joseph Adams and Brooklyn Shuck enter the cast of The God of the Woods Netflix TV series produced by Sony adaptation of Liz Moore’s novel. Set in the Adirondacks is a multi-generational drama about the secrets of the Van Laar family, after the disappearance of 13-year-old Barbara, with past and present alternating.

Rock City

Hulu is working in Rock City a comedy created by Janelle James of Abbott Elementary and David Capse (author of Happy Endings) produced by Universal. In the center a woman who returns to her native city to the Virgin Islands where she inherited a tourist trap discovering how what she inherited is more than a simple bar.

Fanning will be an agent of the treasure that goes undercover in a multinational of a billionaire and finds himself in the midst of political and criminal interweaters, divided between duty and a man, the heir of all society, which actually seems a good and worthy person of his love. Gummer will be Juliana, daughter of the billionaire Brant played by Stellan Skarsgård.
