The plot of The man with the fists of iron is set in a village of China in the nineteenth century. It tells the story of Taddeus Blacksmith (RZA) a former slave in the United States, who after liberation decides to move to the extreme east, where helped and educated by a group of Buddhist monks became the smith of the village. The village is populated by various guerrilla gangs and Blacksmith, who knows the art of Kung Fu, will be forced by the two rival gangs to build increasingly complicated and infallible weapons.
His goal is to earn as much money as possible to free the love of his life, Lady Silk, prisoner of the “The Pink Blossom” brothel in which he works. A series of circumstances will lead to the confrontation between the two families of rival warriors, Blacksmith will then find himself in an uncomfortable position as he will have to build weapons to both sides. His position is further complicated when Jack Knife arrives in the city, an English mercenary paid by the emperor to find the head of Gold Lion’s death, which has already triggered the conflict between the two families.
