Camp Rock returns with a new chapter over fifteen years after the release of the first two films that marked a generation of spectators and contributed to the international success of the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato. Camp Rock 3 will debut on August 14 on Disney+ in Italy, bringing viewers back to the famous music field that in 2008 and 2010 became one of the most popular Disney Channel franchises. The new film introduces a new generation of protagonists, while maintaining some of the historical characters of the saga.
Produced by Disney Kids & Family, Camp Rock 3 is directed by Veronica Rodriguez and written by Eydie Faye, already author of the Disney film The Slumber Party. The project also involves executive producer Joe, Nick and Kevin Jonas, along with Demi Lovato and Tim Federle, former creator of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series.

The story begins when the Connect 3 are suddenly found without the group that should have opened their reunion tour. To find a new support band, the brothers decide to return to Camp Rock, the place that marked the beginning of their musical career and which continues to represent a reference point for emerging young artists.
Within the musical field, participants challenge themselves to get the opportunity to perform at the opening of the concert of their favorite band. The competition leads to the birth of new friendships, rivalry, love stories and alliances, while the protagonists try to transform their talent into a concrete opportunity for the future.
The teaser trailer released by Disney+ also anticipates the return of the musical and choral atmosphere that has characterized the previous chapters of the saga, with new original musical numbers and a strong attention to the size of the group and personal growth.

The new chapter introduces an unprecedented generation of protagonists. Liamani Segura plays Sage, Malachi Barton dresses Fletch’s shoes, while Lumi Pollack plays Rosie. Sherry Cola also featured in the role of Lark, Hudson Stone in Desi, Casey Trotter as Cliff, Brooklyn Pitts as Callie and Ava Jean in Madison.
Next to the new protagonists, some of the historical faces of the franchise return. Joe Jonas takes the role of Shane Gray, Nick Jonas, Nate Gray, and Kevin Jonas, Jason Gray’s, reporting Connect 3. Maria Canals-Barrera returns in the role of Connie, already present in the previous films of the saga.

Camp Rock (2008) and Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam (2010) are still among the most followed original Disney Channel films, helping to launch the international career of Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato.
The new film aims to collect this legacy, proposing a new generation of artists and new original songs, including One Beat Away, the first single of the soundtrack played by Liamani Segura along with the cast of the film. The Camp Rock 3 soundtrack will be available on digital platforms from August 13th, a day before the Disney+ movie debut.
