Paramount+ has announced a new Italian project with Luca Zingaretti, Il Method Paraldi adaptation of the novels of Fabrizio Roncone (Marsilio) a saga started in 2016 composed of 4 novels. The author is a journalist like the protagonist Marco Paraldi who left the profession to open a winery in Campo de Fiori. The TV series is expected in 2027 with the footage that have just begun, produced by Simona Ercolani for Stand by Me and directed by Giuseppe Gagliardi. The adaptation is by Giulio Calvani and Federico Favot, written with Bianca Rondolino and with the advice of Roncone himself, directed by Giuseppe Gagliardi.
Il Metodo Paraldi la trama
The Paraldi Method is an original crime drama in which the yellow mixes with the pleasure of good drinking and good eating. The investigations unfold in the Capital, the city of power and sweet life, sophisticated, cynical and vital, baroque and brutalist, very rich on the terraces of the center and very poor in the extreme suburbs: a contradictory Rome, where good and evil overlap to become almost indistinguishable.
The protagonist of the series is Marco Paraldi – interpreted by Luca Zingaretti – a former journalist who became a winemaker, allergic to the powerful and injustices. Paraldi investigates cases of missing persons using the knowledge of his old craft, with methods often out of the patterns and a strong intuition for hidden truths.
