The One Chicago universe returns to Italy 1 with the eleventh season of Chicago Med, aired from Thursday 16 July in the first evening (while Wednesday continues the One Chicago evening with the same seasons on Sky and NOW). The new episodes focus on the events of doctors and nurses of the Gaffney Chicago Medical Center, with increasingly complex cases and the consequences of events that ended the previous season.
Between emergencies, difficult decisions and personal relationships destined to change, the series continues to tell the everyday life of one of Chicago’s most demanding emergency staff. The tenth season ended with Dr. Washington’s resignation rejecting a change of role and salary, while Sharon Goodwin was forced to make cuts; Dr. Lennox knew he had a hereditary disease, while Hannah Asher knew he was pregnant even if he doesn’t know who his father is. On Italy 1 Chicago Fire is aired on Friday and Chicago PD on Wednesday (since July 22).

11×01 We can all fall – Ricky, his father Caleb and his lover Bonnie arrive at the emergency room with severe burns. Everyone thinks Bonnie’s Becky, Caleb’s wife. The Lenox and Abrams operate Sierra and Sheva, two sisters injured during a night rave, turned into tragedy for the collapse of the building in which it was organized. The two sisters are saved. Ripley discovers that Hannah is waiting for a child from Dean, Hudson, another patient who survived the collapse of the building manifests the desire to die because she feels guilty about a girl who sacrificed herself to help him. Dr. Charles helps him overcome his guilt. Becky arrives at the hospital and finds out her husband was cheating on her with Bonnie. Caleb dies. Ricky’s recovering. Ripley goes to Sadie and convinces her to get familiar with Emelia.
11×02 Small margins – Miles, a boy who is about to marry, has infected wounds due to a leg stretching intervention but refuses to get rid of the implants for fear of losing his fiancée, unaware of the fact that it was previously low. Will returns to Gaffney to greet his colleagues but outside, while he is entering with Owen, Natalie’s son, a boy named Jasper is dumped by a car and complains about severe abdomen pain, so Will takes him in. It turns out Jasper is a pusher and swallowed a large amount of balloons containing cocaine. Archer and Ripley find a solution not to bring Miles back to his initial stature and operate it. The intervention goes well. Hannah deals with Esme, a pregnant patient who contracted helicobacter. It turns out that she also contracted her husband Jeremy but unfortunately he developed gastric cancer.

Steven Weber returns to the role of Dr. Dean Archer, while Marlyne Barrett playing Maggie Lockwood, ER, left the show; surprise guest star Nick Gehlfuss who took over the role of Dr. Halstead.
In the cast we also find Jessy Schram (doctor Hannah Asher), Luke Mitchell (doctor Mitch Ripley), Sarah Ramos (doctor Caitlin Lenox) and Darren Barnet as Dr. Brian Boone.
They are also part of the cast S. Epatha Merkerson (Sharon Goodwin) and Oliver Platt (doctor Daniel Charles), two of the series’ historical faces.
