After the “success” of the first season, Ransom Canyon returns with a new chapter. The romantic western series created by April Blair will be available on Netflix from July 23, bringing viewers among family rivalries, intrigues linked to the great landowners and tormented love stories of the Texas town that gives the title to the series.
Composed once again by 10 bets, obviously all immediately available, the second season resumes the story six months after the events of the previous final, with the fate of Ransom Canyon still in the balance and new characters destined to change the balances of the community. Ransom Canyon is inspired by the literary saga of writer Jodi Thomas, composed of eight novels set in the fictional town of Texas Hill Country. While taking inspiration from books, the Netflix series develops its own narrative, expanding the story of characters and woven contemporary romantic, familiar and western elements.

It’s been six months since Quinn O’Grady left Ransom Canyon to move to New York and pursue his musical career. The return home, scheduled from the beginning, will force her to face everything she had left unfinished, starting from the relationship with Staten Kirkland.
Meanwhile, Staten is committed to regain control of the Double K Ranch, after losing the role of administrator of the family property. While breeders’ dynasties continue to contend with power on the territory, new arrivals put at risk consolidated relationships and reopen old wounds, making it even more difficult to distinguish between personal interests and feelings.
