After the presentation at the Italian Global Series with the event for the 60 years of Star Trek, from Thursday, July 23 on Paramount+ will arrive the fourth season Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. Composed of 10 episodes, the new season will continue with a weekly appointment every Thursday until September 24, bringing back to the center of the scene the crew of the U.S.S.S. Enterprise led by Captain Christopher Pike.
Set in the years preceding Captain Kirk’s mission in the classic series, Strange New Worlds continues to explore the adventures of the Enterprise during Pike’s command, maintaining the episodic structure that marked the first three seasons.

In the new episodes the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise embarks on a new mission between unexplored worlds and unknown civilizations. During the journey, Pike and his officers will face not only threats from deep space and terrifying alien species, but also their inner conflicts.

Among new encounters, unexpected returns and increasingly dangerous situations, the series continues to tell the spirit of exploration that has always characterized the Star Trek franchise, without sacrificing the message of hope and confidence in the future that represents one of its distinctive elements. Launched in 2022 as a spin-off of Star Trek: Discovery, Strange New Worlds reported the franchise to a mostly episodic narrative, alternating science fiction, adventure and character insight. The series is placed chronologically before the Classical Series and tells the years when Christopher Pike was in charge of the Enterprise, expanding the path of iconic characters like Spock, Uhura and Scotty.

Among the guest stars of the season are Carol Kane and Paul Wesley, the latter again as the young James T. Kirk.
The fourth season is produced by CBS Studios, Secret Hideout and Roddenberry Entertainment, with Akiva Goldsman and Henry Alonso Myers as co-showrunner. Executive producers include Alex Kurtzman and Anson Mount.
