Announced a bit by surprise last year and broadcast successfully last television season, arrives in Italy Boston Blue, spinoff of Blue Bloods. Unfortunately, the TV series will debut in full summer in a clear preview on Rai 2 and RaiPlay, making as always sampled with the broadcasts in clear, seeing it between hours and little duration of the on demand.
The spin-off sees the return of Donnie Wahlberg as Detective Danny Reagan, who leaves New York to move to Boston, beginning a new phase of his career and personal life. The series maintains the police system that has decreed the success of Blue Bloods, but introduces a new family at the center of the narrative, the Silver, destined to collect the legacy of the Reagan within a different context but equally linked to the forces of order.
Boston Blue, la trama
After years in NYPD, Danny Reagan decided to move to the Boston Police Department, also with the goal of rebuilding his relationship with his son Sean, who chose to start his career as a police officer there.
On his arrival he was accompanied by Detective Lena Silver, a brilliant investigator and a member of one of the most influential families of the forces of the city. While Danny adapts to a new environment and new colleagues, he will face complex cases that will test his experience, intertwining with the Silver family and the delicate relationship with Sean.
In the first episodes, Sean remains involved in an explosion during his first recruiting intervention, an event that prompts Danny to reach Boston and which marks the beginning of his new professional adventure.
